Our first mouse model was just published in Genes and Development. This Fan1 knockout mouse promises to be super-duper helpful for understanding of FAN1 function. Check out the cover which shows karyomegaly in the tubules but not in the glomeruli of the kidneys. The Rockefeller University covered the paper here (with link to the paper).

The summer is not over yet but today we say goodbye to our three students who did a terrific job at the bench. Lulu was part of the SURF program at the Rockefeller University. Devesh and Asher were part of the SSRP for high school students. Thank you to their mentors: Supawat, Charlie, and Brook. Great job everyone!
